The Save The Date is an advance announcement of your wedding date and location, to let your guests know that they will later be invited to the celebration.

It is good practice to mail your Save The Date cards 8-10 months before the wedding, to increases the likelihood that your guests will be able to attend.

Invitation

The Invitation is the official wedding announcement. It lists all the indispensable details of the ceremony, such as the couple's names, the date, time and venue.

It is good practice to deliver Invitations to your guests 2-3 months before the wedding.
